Luxe's Effort

Science-backed, clinically tested collagen peptides derived from Cod Fish of Norway.

Beyond industry measures, Luxe's product meets strict selection criteria of raw material selection, manufacturers selection and final yield selection, putting 3000% effort with the aim of delivering the highest quality collagen extraction for all Luxe Collagen products.

1 Marine Material Parameters

Luxe Collagen is imported from the largest marine exporter in Norway, best known in delivering premium marine ingredients.

1.1 Whole Cod Fish Selection Framework: Wild caught, healthy cod fish with firm, white flesh.

1.2 Part Cod Fish Selection Framework: Cod fish skin, known with higher protein and lower fat distribution than other parts of the fish.

1.3 Cod Fish Test Framework: Pass heavy metals & chemicals testing.

1.4 Cod Fish Storage Framework: Cold chain distribution with consistent temperature throughout transportation and storage to retain freshness.

Luxe's product development team conducts active site visit to fisheries and manufacturers once to twice a year, to ensure that only the highest quality cod fish is selected for use.

2 Production Standard Parameters

Collagen extraction and production process is performed in an audited plant compliant with ISO, GMP, HALAL and other internationally recognized quality systems.

Manufacturing Plant : Norway

2.1 Extraction Method Framework: Heat enzymatic collagen extraction technology, known in the industry to yield the highest quality collagen.

2.2 Process Flow Framework: Hot water extraction with resulting water solution purified through filtration systems and ionic exchange resins. Undergo enzymatic reaction to introduce low molecular weight, micro-sized collagen peptide.

2.3 Purification and Sterilization Framework: Impurities are removed, sterilization process are implemented.

2.4 Quality Control Framework: Test for purity, bioactivity, microbial contamination, heavy metals, amino acid composition, and molecular weight to ensure batch consistency meeting full food safety parameters.

Tests are conducted on every production batch to ensure that all parameters are within strict specifications.

3 Collagen Grading Parameters

Studies conducted shown 95% of collagen peptide reaches the circulation, with absorption observed within hours of consumption.

3.1 Collagen Content Framework: Quantify collagen content, final yield with significant collagen concentration of collagen peptides are approved.

3.2 Molecular Weight Distribution Framework: Exhibits a well-defined range of molecular weights profile at less than 500 Daltons are approved

3.3 Bioactivity and Functional Properties Framework: Full bioactivity properties in terms of bioavailability, amino acid profile, solubility, thermal stability, efficacy and functional benefits are assessed.

Only collagen peptides with the highest grade, bioavailability and functionality are approved for use and distributed under Luxe Collagen.
